Farming should be possible even when you are busy or far away.
WEMAT brings together landowners who want to rent unused land, customers who want to farm, and agronomists and workers who can do the work.
Landowners set their rental prices. Customers can find land, record crop plans and request support. WEMAT also offers full-package farming, where our team organises the project and customers follow progress through reports.
We are working on our first managed farming project in Popota Settlement, Choma.

Supporting Zambia’s vision for more agricultural production
WEMAT supports the ambition behind the Grow Zambia Agenda and the 10-10-5-3-3-1-1-1 economic transformation plan: helping Zambia produce more food, create work and grow its agricultural economy.
Our contribution starts with practical connections. We help bring unused farmland into production, connect projects with skilled people and give customers tools to plan, manage and monitor farming.
These are national production ambitions cited in public discussions of the agenda, not WEMAT production figures or commitments. WEMAT is an independent business and does not claim government endorsement.
